
The Minded Space
The Minded Space is newly founded interior design brand located in Barcelona, offering four main services: Interior Design & Decoration, Retail & Visual Merchandising, Home Staging, and Temporary Spaces. The founder María has the ultimate goal of drawing a deeper connection between their clients’ minds and their spaces. She plans to share her story online on social media and one day be able to work on projects around the world and make people happier and more comfortable with their lives and the spaces they’re surrounded by.
THE PROBLEM
The Minded Space needed a visual identity that matched its founder María's vision and values. The brand had to feel professional and warm yet approachable to connect deeply with its audience. María’s mission—to help people create spaces that align with their emotional needs—set her apart from competitors, but this unique angle needed to shine through.

THE SOLUTION
To reflect The Minded Space’s unique approach, we created a visual identity that is minimal, meaningful, and rich with symbolism.
Typography: A modern serif font was selected to represent sophistication and high quality, while the all-lowercase lettering brought an approachable and personal touch. The italicized “the” added a fresh, contemporary feel.
Logo Design: We developed an icon and primary logo that encapsulated María’s mission. Geometric shapes—a circle for the mind and a square for the space—directly connect to technical drawings and floor plans, grounding the brand in interior design while remaining simple and memorable.
Overall Aesthetic: A refined yet inviting aesthetic was established to resonate with a mindful audience seeking emotional alignment in their spaces.
This cohesive brand identity ensures that The Minded Space leaves a meaningful first impression, connecting with clients on both a visual and emotional level.

The story behind the icon
The icon for The Minded Space is a visual representation of María’s mission: creating harmony between the mind and the spaces we live in.
The design began with a deep dive into how to symbolize these two elements. The circle was chosen to represent the mind—soft, infinite, and introspective. The square stands for the space—a room, a structure, or a foundation. Together, these shapes reflect the connection between inner thoughts and the external environment.
To make the icon even more meaningful, the initials “T” and “M” were subtly integrated into the shapes. This not only reinforces the brand name but also adds a clever, personal touch that makes the logo feel intelligent and thoughtful.
The simplicity of the design mirrors María’s belief in mindful living, while its geometric precision ties back to the technical and creative aspects of interior design. This balance of meaning, simplicity, and professionalism perfectly captures what The Minded Space is all about.
